Daniel Defense M4 9.5 FSP Carbine Rail DD-1002 is designed to expand the possibilities of your M4 or AR-15 carbine while still giving you access to the traditional iron sights of your weapon. These Daniel Defense mounts feature an innovative design that removes a portion of the front of the top rail, which allows you to aim with the front sight post, gives you more space along the side and bottom rails, and allows room for the gas block of your carbine length gas system.
Manufactured from high-quality 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the Daniel Defense 9.5 FSP Free Float Rail System allows you to mount almost any weapon accessory using military standard 1913 Picatinny rails. Every M4 Rail also includes a set of three 6" low-profile ladder rail covers. Aircraft Grade 6061-T6 Aluminum is used exclusively so that strength is not sacrificed for weight. The Daniel Defense M4 Free Float tube is among the lightest rail systems available today.
Each tube is precision CNC machined and then Military Specification Type III Hard Coat Anodized. The free floating design of these mounts dissipates heat quickly and doesn't weigh down on the barrel, preserving your carbine's accuracy. And since Daniel Defense has designed the rail system to mount to the barrel nut or upper receiver, the system won't spin when it's weighted down with accessories.
