    I have one of each (7 X 57 and 7.62 X 51) and they are great rifles.
    I don't think they are .308 Win, I think they are 7.62 X 51 NATO (there IS a difference in chamber pressures).

    That's a fair price if the bore is good.

    Hello All. Thank you Bob for the reply. I checked into it further and can now say the rifles have been re-barreled by Samco in 308win and are stamped as such. Bore condition varies on these. Most appear to have quite a bit of life left in them, I am told. A few are dark. There is a Hand Select option on the website which allows you to specify your request for an additional charge. Just enter "Hand Select" in the search box and click enter.

    I also want to mention that the description posted above has been changed on our website this morning to include "Remaining rifles are all surplus good condition with minor cracked stocks"
