WITHDRAWN. No local interest.
S&W Model 39-2 with A285934 serial number, left S&W factory in 1975-76. The 39-2 comes in the original box with factory paperwork and a factory, unopened cleaning kit, with one factory magazines. The original label has been destroyed by the original owner and was taped to the box. I removed the original label and added a "reproduction label" to the box and kept the original inside the box.
Per the seller, the S&W Model 39-2 was shot very little, but had seen some time carried in a holster. When it was not carried, it was stored in a safe. The internals were in excellent condition, including the feed-ramp and barrel. The frame was in excellent condition; however, the bluing was wearing on the slide. Wanting a unique 39-2, I contacted Tom Ashley of Ashley Firearms. I had Tom re-blue all the steel parts and glass bead blast and ceramic media tumble the frame.
––-> Cash Price: $600 O.B.O.
I also have two N.O.S. 8 round, blued magazines in excellent condition. I also have two new S&W 9 round, stainless steel magazines unused.
––-> 8 round mags - Cash Price: $20 each
––-> 9 round mags - Cash Price: $30 each
FTF in the Houston area; However, willing to drive a bit for the right deal/trade. I prefer to meet at Bass Pro Shop in Pearland on Hwy 288 and Beltway 8.
