At the Dallas Gun Show yesterday, I made a multiple gun for multiple gun trade and ended up with two M1 Carbines. I don't really know jack about them, but I don't want two so I am selling one. Dealer had it for $1299 which I think is high, but its hard to say what I "paid" for it which is kind of why I want to trade it as opposed to sell it. The guy specialized in M1 Carbins and Garands and said I should keep this one in my safe and shoot the other one. Looks decent to me, but again I don't know much. It is stamped National Postal Meter. It has one noticeable blemish on the stock and a few more compressions and such upon close inspection. Check the photos. Let me know if you have questions and/or need photos of something else.
