So I noticed recently that the.magazine release on my XDM40 3.8 is really really stiff; just seems like the button is really small and doesn't really have the leverage to be smooth....am I new to this "problem" or is it well known? Ive never heard of it as a problem but I recently started shooting an M&P and a GLOCK and I really noticed it then!

With a full mag, my XDm 45 3.8 mag release is a little stiff, but not unreasonably so. Actually, I consider it to be a plus in that it reduces the chance of accidentally dropping the magazine in a stressful situation.

My XD is fine, my XDM not too bad but my XDS is pretty stiff but it doesn't have a whole lot of rounds through it...

As Cajunautoxer said, usually they get better with "age"...

Yea, ill just have to keep on it! It is not a new gun I just noticed as I started doing more reloading drills with it and then started shooting the other guns. Yay, excuses to shoot it a bunch more!
