    Look what came in today!

I am now a proud 1911 owner! I appreciate all of the advice given in the "Ruger 1911... Opinions?" and "HK USP vs SA 1911" threads!

The Ruger SR1911 was certainly nice, but in the end I opted to spend a little more to get the nice case, holsters, ambi safety, forged frame, front serrations, and Springfield experience/resell value. I'm very pleased with my choice. Don't think I'll get to shoot it this weekend, but maybe next :-)

Congratulations! I've got a multiple 1911s and love them.

But you do have one thing wrong... the way you worded it seemed like you made a choice to buy this instead of another 1911.

Let me correct you- "I purchased this 1911 because I wanted it more now, but don't worry, I'll buy a few more in the future when I'm able to!"

Congrats on a fine purchase. I've never found much use for the holster and mag holders SA includes, but since you mentioned resale, make sure you don't get rid of them. For whatever reason, buyers want those craptastic accessories. LOL

Thanks fellas! I don't PLAN to resale the SA, but it's always nice to have the assurance of value. Franzas, I ordered a couple of TGT shirts from the link up there at the top of the website^^^ and whoever mailed them to me included the stickers. Already applied one the the back window of my truck :-)

My SA 1911 has been 100% reliable.
I expect yours will be as well. Congrats!
