Yellowstone TV series, anybody watching it?

Season 1 of this new modern western series started this week on the Paramount Network TV channel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone_(U.S._TV_series)

Looks pretty good but I think I am going to wait for the DVD so I can binge watch the whole season at once. Plus I get better sound on DVDs than I get from broadcast quality surround sound. No date yet on the DVD release date.

Dang it. I meant to DVR it but our service was on the fritz. Have to do it now and wait for the first episide to run again so I can see it all.

Don't know about your service, but Spectrum is doing Episode 1 again tomorrow night.

I watched episode 1 and am reserving judgement. If family friendly is a criteria for you tv shows, this one isn’t.

Yep, nudity and F bombs, but is an adult series. Personally getting really tired of the heavy F bomb usage in a lot of movies.

I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I believe that if Costner is in it, it's not entertaining (unless Duvall is there to bail him out), so no, I'm not watching.

Taylor Sheridan is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for wrote the screenplay for Sicario (2015), and Hell or High Water (2016), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

He also starred in FX television series Sons of Anarchy, and directed the film Wind River, starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.

Very very promising!

There’s an art to F-Bomb employment; ask any first sergeant.

This show uses it as a verbal pause or filler word. I didn’t find it entertaining.
