This is almost too ridiculous to believe...

Boy disciplined after waving gun-shaped pizza slice

SMYRNA, Tenn. - For the rest of the semester, a Rutherford County elementary student has to eat lunch at the "silent table" for allegedly waving around a slice of pizza some say resembled a gun.

Nicholas Taylor attends David Youree Elementary School in Smyrna, about 30 miles southeast of Nashville.

School leaders say the 10-year-old threatened other students at his lunch table with a piece of pizza with bites out of it so it looked like a gun and when asked about it was initially not truthful...(full story and video at link)

Look out everyone! He's also got a Brussel sprout that looks like a grenade and an asparagus that looks like a bayonet! :ohnoes:

Idiot how people overreact to things these days...

    Cheers! M2

Not the first time this has happened.

I hate to say it but this is what happens when only child girls grow up to be in charge of young boys. I'm reminded of a "ground breaking" study that showed boys liked to play cops and robbers or cowboys and indians and girls liked to have tea parties.

I concur with school officials. Kinda like a Glock, there is no safety on a slice of pepperoni. Rule #1 - safety first, if you can't do that, make up your own ruling.
