Albuquerque has the coolest airport.
Before 9-11 you could sit in an observation deck and listen to traffic control and pilot conversations.
Neat that they share runways with military aircraft.

I've lived in TX and NM several times over the years as my job/life moved around. It's hard to beat the SW for shooting long range with the sun out most of the year.The largest city run range in the USA is here in ABQ and my club has almost exclusive use of the new 1,000 yard range. I really lucked out.
I pig hunt in TX as much as I can when work allows it.
