    do the cell phone camera test ... take your tv remote and point it at the lens while looking at the screen, press a button and if you see light it should work...

    use unexposed film to make your filter.

    Infrared reception with the cell phone CCD. I'd wager with an IR filter it would work on many Canon digital cameras that sense light in the infrared.

    yeah i dunno about that.

    in extremely bright areas this should theoretically work fine.

    will report back after i buy some cheap film.
