I am opposed to this national reciprocity on the basis of state's rights, but I do think that the 2nd amendment protects your right to bear arms.

I just think it should be done differently.

I am pro CHL all the way, all decent Americans should have that privilege as with the present economy, the soaring lawlessness by the scumbags makes the event of meeting one or more of these cretins more and more likely, especially in the cities.

I do think that the nationwide reciprocity amendment does raise some interesting states rights questions.

On one hand the states shouldn't be told by the central (fed) government how to run things in their borders for the most part.

On the other hand the 2nd amendment isn't really covered under states rights. It is a right given to every individual and the states don't have any more right to infringe on that than the central government does.
