    They must have used those "TSA approved" locks on their case. Those can be opened by anyone in the airport. If they had used cheap padlocks you can get anywhere then there would have been physical damage to the case or locks in order for the guns to have gotten "lost".

    On the surface this really wasn't a Federal blunder. More an airline screwup...

    These were found unopened and returned according to news reports. The true back story of how they got misplaced and what really has happened to them may never be unclassified.

    I'm more surprised at the lack of positive control the Israelis had over their weapons, even if they were in transit. They used to be more professional than that....
