    Gunz are icky.
I thought this was an interesting test.

Many talk a lot of trash on the .380.

Of course it isn't the "ideal" SD round.

Maybe it isn't so bad after all?

It's tough to dispute ball ammo going through glass, JHP is a whole other story. The glass is also more vertical than in most cars, which helps quite a bit.

That's why I alternate FMJ and JHP in the mag when I carry my P238. While the .380 doesn't produce the impact of the more popular self defense calibers, it's nice to see it get a little love. Clearly if you hit what you aim at it can be effective in most situations. As an aside, I've found the little Sig P238 to be an excellent and very concealable pistol. While not my primary carry it's great when I'm in a hurry and don't want to select my clothing based on concealing my gun.

The guy is standing, the windshield is on the ground and the angle of the windshield is not the same as it would be on the vehicle.

If he had done the same thing with the windshield in the car at the real angles, would it yield the same results?

    I don't know...that's why I'm asking.

Gee, another discussion on the adequacy of the .380 ACP as a self-defense round. I wonder if we'll come to a consensus this time? The previous 10,672 discussions didn't. ;>) But thks for the video link, one of my carry guns is a Bersa Thunder in .380 and I love it.
