I watch plenty of videos on there that happen to talk smack about supporters of, for instance Sharia Law and other concerns.

Youtube has been demonetizing left and right. Haven't seen any that were removed or wouldn't play and I definitely watch a lot of vids that are honest about sharia and Muslim/middle eastern culture.
YouTube has become the platform of alternative media. It's not hard to find better sources of information than the MSM (and equally easy to find bullshit).
What's funny is that it's conservative commentary that is taking over a site that caters to the left. YouTube doesn't dare kick them as they carry too many viewers, so they start to demonitize in hopes they will stop saying certain things.
Louder with Crowder advertises his "Mug Club" now via "Tranny Bane" who calls out youtubes double standards on what is considered for mature audiences only while some really screwed up rap is there for everyone.
Lots of people calling out YouTube ON YouTube while still covering topics YouTube doesn't want covered and Google knows they'd be cutting their own throats if they shut them down.

The first company to truly get a YouTube competitor up that does not remove content just because it offends ANYBODY will be very rich. Problem is, YouTube has so much of the market, it'd be like a company going up against Facebook or Twitter. Just not gonna happen.
