Yugo Zastava 8mm M48A All Matching Numbers M48 Mauser

    Excellent condition. 1950s manufacture.

I bought it new and have put 15 rounds through it.

    Includes bayonet and 25 rounds 8 x 57mm 175gr PSP BT ammo.

I have an ammo pouch. Just have to find it.

$600.00 $550.00 Face to Face San Antonio

I don't know why I bought this because I've never been interested in 8 x 57. It was just so pretty I couldn't resist.

These pics are not of my rifle. I couldn't get decent pics of the markings so I found some on the net that are the same. My bayonet and scabbard don't have matching numbers.

If it does, that rifle is a Mitchell Mauser, and that is why it looks so polished.

Back in 2003 when surplus Mausers were $75 to $100 bucks a pop from Century, AIM, SOG, and J&G; Mitchell's Mausers were selling these for $400+ for their "collector grade quality". Rifles came with a certificate of authenticity, bayonet, pouches, etc. There are lots of internet people that hate the company for how they sold and marketed their rifles, but there are a few collectors now out there looking for these with the original box contents.

    Just FYI.

Yes, I had all that when I purchased it but were misplaced after moving X2.

Great. So you know what it is.

Like them or not $550 IMO is a more than fair value for a Premium Grade Mitchel Yugo Mauser.
If I didn't already have one of these, I would pick it up.

    EDIT:
    Found this:
