Southpaw...people dont have to be armed. Imagine millions of illegals descending on DC in protest...prompted to protest and bused there of course.

I guess I went somewhere else with that entirely then. :crash:

So let me ask, and certainly not to be contrary, but who do you see organizing getting those millions to DC?

Government of Mexico? Agitate their people here to claim back the southwest?

BHO et al? Get millions demanding something...stage something like some "right wing fascists" attacking the masses, then claim authority to suspend rights to keep the peace.

Thats what Milosevic did. He knew what was happening between police/protesters and wanted it to happen. "They are beating us! Do something!" All caught for the cameras...then he let his Serbs know "they will never beat you again!" All staged for the cameras of course.

Fair enough, I'm very much aware of them.

Again, not trolling here, just trying to understand.

What do you guys see as their motivation to march on D.C.?

No apologies needed. Good to be challenged and questioned.

Motivation of illegal aliens? Well first they would be paid to protest. Fed. Given drugs and armed escorts. So they would be there because their controlled community leaders told them to go, they would believe they were there to demand their rights.

Could be DC. Could be each state capitol. Im just saying millions of protestors may be more effective at revolution than if they armed themselves for conflict and engaged in terrorism or combat.

Also dont forget the Pentagon is considering letting illegals serve in the military. Thats another brilliant move from the socialists.

Make the military impotent by dividing it. Are they going to fix bayonets and engage the protestors? Yes that happened to the Bonus Army but that was a different scenario 100 years ago.

Here is something that should be of great concern. Yugoslavia armed the police forces with military weapons...but only those cities who were willing to play along. As soon as the Croat government armed itself Yugoslavia freaked out.

So called nationalist fascists vs socialist nationalists. You want to own guns or you dont want to yield all rights to the national government? You are a fascist.

I studied the Former Republic of Yugoslavia for years and spent some time there with SFOR. It's nothing like what may be happening in this country, you need to study the history of that country more (and Tito's influence on it) to better understand how it ended up like it did. There are many things I admired about the Serbs, and some things I didn't. Same goes for the Bosniaks and Croats, but the bottom line is that no faction was innocent of atrocities during that conflict and the hatred got to a level that a Balkan paradise was destroyed. It is a beautiful region rich in history and culture, and it had great potential, but those assholes threw it all away for no good reason...

I see the biggest potential for conflict in the US existing between those who benefit from and want collectivism versus those who benefit from and want their individual rights.

Not saying its exactly the same. But we can learn from it and there are similarities. Same for Roman empire even.

Ive also found it interesting while fighting for the border cities in Croatia the Yugo army went with heavy weapons and bombardment not interested in going house to house.

I have a yugoslavian bolt action .22. Absoultely beautiful rifle-that thing is a tack driver.

I was talking to a guy through my MDA-Uncovered group who survived a group massacre over there. His story was pretty crazy. Luckily, he's been living in the states since 96 and life has been much better.

Yugo's were fine cars... for how much they cost
I mostly blame Malcolm Bricklin for the issues they had on this side of the pond. Kudos to him for plowing through importation BS, but he didn't have a clue on setting up dealer support.

ooof... 5hrs... There goes my weekend.

Did they make a Yugo truck or was that just the VW?

I'm about 3 hours into the doc now. It's one you have to watch and not just listen too as there are so many subtitles.

Yes, I just finished the first part.
I'll admit, I didn't know much of how things came to be. I'm looking forward to the rest.

I'm starting to see where you were coming from with this thread.
