    They made great cars back in the 80's.

    They've made and continue to make a shit ton of AK's and other soviet era guns.

    The Germans hated (surprise surprise) their refugees during the Balkin conflict in 92-94. I know. I was there.

    Their girls are pretty hot

    Their beer is skunky as hell

    It doesn't exist anymore.

    Ive read about that part of the world and the civil war(s) before.

    I met a guy from Bosnia recently and talked to him a bit. Ive been watching this excellent documentary which helps explain what happened as it is so confusing with so many republics, ethnicities and faiths involved.

    Possible preview for the dissolution of the US.

    In that case here's what I remember about the Balkin Conflict;

    * Ruthless military commanders/ action.
    * Refugee camps with horrid conditions
    * Starving populace
    * Sickening war crimes (rape/murder of civilians)
    * Attempted genocide
    * Ethnic cleansing
    * Desperation
    * Unwillingness of neighboring countries to accept refugees/provide aid
    * Bill Clinton used it as a 'wag the dog' scenario
    * Precision US bombing (that missed mostly)
    * Vincenza Air Force Base
    * Уједињене нације - United Nations (Pron: Ye-din-yen-ah Na-Tai-ya)
    * стоп или пуцам - Stop or I'll shoot! (Pron: Staa-Ni eLii Put-zam)
    * Light blue helmets
    * Light blue berets
    * Thousands of cases of MREs
    * Rotting dead
    * Burned out / bombed out 1000+ year old villages

    And more.

    Not a comparable scenario for Texas due to very different geography.

    One thing you'd definitely have to consider is the very real possibility of a two front conflict. I don't believe that Mexico/Mexican drug Gangs is/are going to sit back and watch it all happen without attempting a Texas land grab of their own.

    With the amount of illegal immigrants here it really concerns me.

    Its almost like how Texas was flooded with Whites then was like...why are we part of Mexico still? They arent doing anything for us.

    But how many are truly ready for war? They are no different then most Americans who are distracted by their material possessions and unmotivated.

    As we've seen in the past, poor people uprising in America generally tends to chaotic and disorderly. They tend to eat their own people and neighborhoods, then gradually work out from there. I believe by that time, their numbers would be manageable by organized groups of armed suburban property owners. I'm not saying it would be fish in a bucket, but certainly not a force that would entirely difficult to control.

    With that said, if the cartels did in fact have some sort of supply line to them, things could be completely different.

    Either way, I wouldn't want to be in any city if something like that went down. Hell, I don't want to be here now!! :)

    To me...we have BHO telling his followers that the white man is to blame and laws and borders dont matter. Milosevic was all about turning up the heat to rally his Serbs regardless of which republic they lived in.

    AAAAAND: as I eluded to in my I was there post above, look for the UN to try sticking it's little weinie in the fight.

    Of course they're pretty pathetic without the US monies and equipment, which would be unavailable due to seizure/destruction in Texas.
