I've recently acquired a Norinco 213 (9mm) and mags are out there, just not overly common. Since it's based on the Tokarev design, and since the Zastava M88 is based on a shortened Tokarev, I wonder about using M88 mags in the Norinco. Both are 8-round capacity items and the angles should be the same, with M88 mags fairly plentiful.
Has anyone else tried this? Thoughts?

I bought one a couple weeks ago and have 2 more coming in - the M88 mag fits well and has the added bonus of the pinky rest that the original style mag does not. Still haven't had a range report, but I don't expect any issues at this point.
