Anybody bought one of Red Jacket's ZK-22 conversion kits for Ruger 10/22? Thinking about getting one but wanted some input first.

I bought one as soon as they started taking pre-orders. It's a fun little project, but depending on how you wan't to set it up it could set you back a pretty penny. It has a good solid feel to it once you put it together. Which could be a little tricky. If you decide to get on let me know. I could help with issues you might come across when assembling.

I've read (at RFC) you can't use a barrel shorter than 18.5" unless you want to SBR it.

Here you. It still a work in progress. The color fill still needs a bit of work.

Sent from the Bacon isle at your local grocery store.

A couple weekends ago at the range, I ran into a guy that had one.

After chatting with him about it, he offered to let me shoot it. I was so excited I forgot to put my shooting glasses on LOL

He told me it had taken quite a bit of work to get a smooth trigger from it. And he had done a write-up on another forum describing the work involved. Here's a link to that thread if interested: Red Jacket ZK-22 Review, Tips, Tricks, Pics, & Short range report
