I got a torch and burned some wood until it was charcoal, added some brass and epoxied over it. Made a nice desk and some wall art out of it. Will have to get a few pics of the finished desk.

Hard to see the details in pics but looks real nice in person. The burned wood has a cracked alligator skin look with metallic shine.

My LGS used to sell ones like this but the guys were “blue hats” (UN troops)

Should have put one “live“ looking round (bullet seated, no powder or primer) in it just to mess with people who may look at it
