How did an 18 year old from Florida manage to buy a gun in Colorado?
Need one of our FFL holders here to make this clear.
Fed Law allows a non-resident to buy a rifle or shotgun in another state from an FFL. It requires the laws of BOTH states to be followed. In this instance, the Colorado FFL failed to follow that law, as Florida prohibits sales to those < 21. This age was changed last year as a result of Parkland.
