I used to think I couldn't afford a lot of things that I really could. But, then I realized that all I had to do was to buy as close to nothing else as possible for long enough. Then, miraculously I could!

Ok. How did you manage that?! I can see a couple hundred over. But $1,000 over?!
With a 10/22 there is so many parts you can buy I could easily have gone way over $1000. I started off buying a Volquatsen carbon fiber barrel w/foregrip, then replaced just about everything else.

You can build a 10/22 with no parts from Ruger. I laugh when people buy one and then replace 95% of the parts. Just buy the damn parts and build it.

STOP IT! I'm at my limit this month.
I'm getting a shed on skids in a couple weeks, and I'm already making a list of gun stuff for it (i.e. workbench....). Then I was up late last night looking at reloading equipment, until I told myself, "you gotta stop before you go broke".Wait until the next upchuck for bulk ammo and get one then. EASY to justify it in that moment.
Load 300rds (10mags) in about 15 min watchn tv. Biggest problem with it is havin a big enough trash can to throw boxes in...
I had a brand new one in my bag at the last meet. Coulda' been yours.
Took me less than fifteen minutes to load 5 mags. And that is using only one wing. And most of that time was getting the mag(s). clamped down right.
Protected by 00 buck.
Dammit! I was sold long before I posted that, just hadn't gotten around to it. Too many 'gun stuff' choices out there.
