A private site can restrict whatever speech it likes. The government " stepping in" would be a 1st amendment violation.I try to use Full30 but YouTube is more convenient since I watch other types of videos too. Some places are hosting videos on their own sites. Eventually the government will have to step in because of the bias and censorship of the large websites restricting free speech (one would think).

This was the second such mention in this thread and it got me thinking: "How would that even work?" I am fully on board that the bias and censorship are bad, but I have a very hard time coming up with a scenario in which the government would be "fixing" this...... I hate seeing that the government may have to step in, but I don't really see a way the bias can be stopped otherwise.
And let's not forget the "Do not call" list. How's that working out.Anyone remember the CAN-SPAM act that was to eliminate SPAM in our email boxes? Yes, I NEVER got any more SPAM after THAT.
Oh, don't even get me started on that one.And let's not forget the "Do not call" list. How's that working out.
I only go to YT when I need something which isn't very often. I am not one to sit and watch video after video. See what I need and get out.
I don't have any other recommendations.
A guy at Vox got upset with Crowder and has tried to get him banned. Steven Crowder has been demonetized, but as a result many, many other smaller sites have too. (A series of Tim Poole videos has been following this). Not only are they targeting so called hate speech, but even words that come close to what might be considered an improper moniker in a video is being demonetized or removed.Whats going on with YT now?
