Since constitutional carry, I don't believe anyone is obligated to show a LTC. That being said, I still hand over my LTC and I believe it put the officer more at ease, besides being thanked for showing it. Best not to surprise LEOs is my thought.

Yes! If you have a LTC. Technically you are not obligated to inform police if you don't have a LTC, but it's always best to de-escalate when ever possible.
They will know you have a LTC when they look up your data.
On OP Live, they typically always ask passengers for IDs.
I figure it would be better to tell them than let them find out you have an LTC.
Maybe that's just me.
ETA: I was typing my response and got Ninja'd, lol.
Not long after I first got my Texas LTC, I had forgotten to give them my LTC. He came back after running my DL and asked about it. That's how I know that they know. I didn't get a ticket then either, in fact it's rare I get one. Might be that I don't give them any lip.
I don't get pulled over.

As an independent observer, during traffic stops, LTC holders tended to receive substantially more leeway when immediately disclosing / giving LTC with their license, and being polite. (as in no ticket, just a warnin,for picadelos for driving offenses short of DUI.)
