I had a cop pull one out of his butt once, gave me a 103 in a 65. I was happy. This wasn't me though :)

These speeds are nearly commonplace in Houston during the TX2Knn events when the nations 2,000+ RWHP cars descend on the area. The typical race is an 80mph to 180mph roll or similar, and they last mere seconds.

I just realized I misspoke. I did get a reckless driving charge in Virginia, coming home from buying a car. I was lucky and slowing down, the trooper only registered 94 on his radar.

Once got one in Montgomery Co, (New Caney) for 155 in a 55 - (long time back when speed limit was 55 - rookie DPS trooper on his 1st day in county and he didn't know the old 72 Cutlass I was driving at the time, hauled me before the JP there who charged me $4.95; as JP and I were on a first name basis - JP didn't want to beat the state outta it's tax and knew I didn't really have to stop, as I was just cleaning the plugs off on the jet boat motored Olds).
