    closed emitters are just better. They acquire faster, they stay cleaner, nothing has to be q tip cleaned because its in a recessed portion.

    I still have not personally shot a closed emitter, but do hear/read good stuff about them. I’ve had my eye on the eps carry for a while.

    Because closed emitters give you a bit of a "tunnel" not only are they generally cleaner, but they also tend to be faster for dot acquisition. Since you have more reference of the general placement of the dot.
