Just lost some of my buddies that was in my unit (6-9 CAV, 3rd Brigade, 1st Cav division) with me yesterday, please play for their families

    AS PER THE COMMANDER:

It is my solemn and sad duty to inform you that on Monday evening, 13 June,
2011 the Squadron lost Staff Sergeant Nicholas Bellard, a native of
Louisiana and Sergeant Glenn Sewell, a native of San Antonio, Texas. SSG
Bellard and SGT Sewell were killed by enemy action during operations near
Forward Operating Base Delta, Al-Kut, Iraq. Both SSG Bellard and SGT Sewell
served their Nation with distinction in Comanche Troop, 6-9 Cav (Saber), 3rd
Brigade (Greywolf), 1st Cavalry Division. We will honor their lives,
service, and sacrifice with memorial ceremonies both here in Iraq and also
at Fort Hood, Texas. Please keep SSG Bellard, SGT Sewell, and their Families
    in your thoughts and prayers.

With respect and gratitude for the sacrifices and service of our Troopers
    and their Families,

    Cameron Cantlon

Having served, and with both a father and son that served - the military is always in my thoughts and prayers. Always hard to hear of a loss - please pass our deepest respect and condolences to their families, along with our thanks.

The name Bellard is haunting me, I remember the name but he would have been a e-1 or two back then.
