    I went to Ruidoso NM with the wife this week.
    I haven't been since 2011

    When I was there last time I weighed about 340 lbs
    This week while I was there I found the big wooden carving of a mountain man that I posed for a photo with back in 2011 and decided to do a before and after type comparison

    On the left was this week

    55 years old and 245 lbs
    On the right I was about 44 years and 340 lbs
    Diet and lifestyle matter I guess

    If I can do it so can you

    Its a great job of losing the weight; but looks like you've also been working out on a regular basis. You're looking in pretty solid shape.
    Congrats on doing a great job of taking care of yourself!!

    Yes sir weight training 3-4 times week
    Lifting weights is the most anti-aging thing you can do for yourself by far.
    Better than any pill or treatment

    It forces your body to rebuild itself and shed the old damaged cells

    That means you are losing fat and keeping muscle!

    Actually adding muscle. My shirts fit different.

    Mostly in arms and shoulders, but my stomach and back are leaner.

    I've been disappointed because I had gotten down to 234, but had some health issues that prevented me from exercising. I think I missed riding my bike the most. It appears that health issue is in check, and I have been slowly getting more active.

    I got down to 244 last week and now I'll go into maintenance mode awhile.
    I still have some left over skin and fat from the old days.
    I'm not going to get surgery because its not bothering me physically but I sure would like to see it gone nonetheless
