I guess ignoring crime and/or letting violent criminals loose and/or never locking them up in the first place ain't enough. They've got to kill off what few local favorites and authentic tourist attractions there are.

Maybe this is on purpose and they plan to replace the pizza spots with central/south American foods.

NYC man will not face charges for 'self-defense' shooting on Brooklyn subway
A woman stabbed a man at the start of a subway dispute that culminated with the man getting shot, video from a fellow rider revealed, according to authorities.
I wonder if they’d charge the guy if he’d used his own gun to shoot the attacker rather than shoot the attacker with the attackers own gun.

And? Acquitted on all murder/assault charges. Guilty on criminal possession of unlicensed firearm. 1 year, out after 6 mos.
That was exactly my point. Self defense but guilty of firearm possession. They will charge you no matter what if you have a gun.
