Academy has .22

It's dirty (isn't all 22LR?)....but it cycles and shot well in our 3 range pistols, a BuckMark, SR 22 and M&P 22...no failures. It's 40 gr. lead. I dumped a couple of bricks into our ammo can and have been using it for private instruction. We have been selling the Federal blue box Champion 36 gr. copper jacketed 525 ct. bricks for the same price. Getting large quantities of bricks is still tough, though..

....and Chirpy....please tell that pic is PS'd........ugh....

Next time I'm in that direction I'll stop by and pick up some of those plated rounds.

I picked up a 1600rd CCI pack yesterday morning at my Academy 290/1960 Houston. I went back later that eve and it was all gone.

I just loaded 13 magazines for three different pistols with the Fed AutoMatch...sure hope I don't regret that. It does seem to be more consistent than some of the other less expensive 22 like SuperX or some of the Remington bulk-ish stuff. Still haven't broken into the M-22 brick.

Academy in Portland has many 50rnd boxes of Velocitors in stock right now, only thing is that it seems very pricey $6.99 per box. I went ahead and bought two boxes since I havent seen Velocitors in a while and they are supposedly one of the better rounds, with tax they came out to a total of $15.13.
