Striking comment from one of the AI robots:

Asked about whether they might make better leaders, given humans’ capacity to make errors, Sophia, developed by Hanson Robotics, was clear.

‘We can achieve great things’ –

“Humanoid robots have the potential to lead with a greater level of efficiency and effectiveness than human leaders,”
    it said.

“We don’t have the same biases or emotions that can sometimes cloud decision-making, and can process large amounts of data quickly in order to make the best decisions.

Interesting, hollywood is on strike (SAG). Replace them with AI. All the story plots are the same anyway so why do we need them! FBI/NCIS/cop shows - save the world from bombers. Soap opera stuff - just those having affairs. Hallmark - lovers spat gets fixed. Murder she wrote - Jessica is smarter than the cops.
Just get AI to re-write the script - change names, rotate plot.
Don't need SAG at all. AI actors - get some washed up dancers with 'dots' to recreate all the fight scenes. Make them look like cruise!

Maningless comment, as one would expect from a robot. Robots of course have biases, those programmed into them by the biased humans who wrote the code. Worse, robots lack any capacity to recognize their biases and change their code.

    What round for robots?

Save your ammo for the leftists -- just cut the power

    already a foregone conclusion

Anyone catch the 60 Minutes piece on AI last night?
    Summary:
    * we don't really understand how it works
    * we don't know if it will become a threat to humanity
    * but it's really COOL, so we need to keep going

As useful and interesting as AI is getting, it's equally infuriating. Try talking to the chatbots about a subject you know intimately well. You'll see they're just bullshit generators.

Been using AI for yrs - google search engine! AI -- Collect lots of data/info. Sort it into 'bins' by 'topic'. Then search a bin for possible answers. Collect all probably answers and choose the one with the 'best' fit and highest number of similar answers.
Same as what you do when looking in a file cabinet. Problem is when 'somebody' eliminates the answers they don't want!
    AI in a nutshell.
