Disorderly conduct?

There was no disorder of any kind until the cops showed up to hold unofficial court on the guy's lawn.

I can understand his belligerence.

He can legally OC on his own property.

The thing I didn't read is why the PD keep coming to his home. Maybe I missed it...?

Are his neighbors calling the PD because they don't like him OCing? If so, you'd think the MWAG calls would finally cease when his name and address keep cropping up.

Or, are the police often in his area, spot him OCing, and not being up on the law regarding OCing while on his own property, decide to check him out?

Anyone know?

No. But they can call 100 times, and if they say there is a MWAG and he is scaring people, they are gojng to come out and investigate. No matter how phsychotic the nieghbors are.

They weren't there for him initially. They had pulled over someone across the street from his house and he was recording it from his own property.

Lol. I didn't bother watching all of it. That's pretty baiting if you ask me.

By which party?
Don't know about there, but if you are committing a crime, anywhere, and wearing a gun open, the cops here don't calmly ask your name and ask you to come chat.

???

Are you saying the individual filming from his own property was committing a crime??

Not at all. If it had been here, and he was committing a crime, they damn sure wouldn't stay that nice or leave. That' what I was saying.

He's committing a "contempt of cop" offense.

IOW, he won't comply with their insistence he do what they say, even though he's not breaking the law.

I'm generally a supporter of LE and most LEO's, but not when they're wrong.

The man is doing nothing wrong, but for whatever reason the LEO's keep insisting he do what they say and when he doesn't they're disgruntled, but finally leave when they ultimately realize he can't be intimidated into doing what they insist.

I think he shows remarkable courage.
