    And I wouldn't be surprised if he already had people selected for these positions already.

    That's because gun ownership is considered to be inherently bad. So the GOOD law abiding citizens are the ones who are unarmed and helpless. The rest of us who own guns are just trouble waiting to happen.

    They like to pretend if the guns were illegal the remaining crimes wouldn't have happened.

    I mean, what kind of criminal wants to have an illegal weapons charge tacked on to a murder charge. That could get them in SERIOUS trouble.

    How anyone can spin those numbers against gun ownership is beyond me.

    A majority of all violent crimes committed were done without a gun.

    Yep. According to their own numbers, most murders didn't involve guns.

    It's funny how they note without noting it that crime tends to "cluster" in certain neighborhoods.
