    Cut n Shoot, Texas
Driving through Austin is like swimming in a latrine. You keep asking yourself how am I going to get this shit off of myself. I do my dammdest to avoid the place even when it takes an extra hour or so to go around it. It's like being in Downtown Los Angeles you just wanna get the FK outa there! Then as you're driving you start thinking WTF are those people so infatuated by?

Too bad that the Mayor again cut off the assistance from the DPS over a lie from a Third-grader about where a trooper pointed his gun. Body Camera video shows the cop following the procedure, pointing the gun down. The kid lied, so the DPS is out. What is soo evident is that to the Mayor, politics is more important than the safety and security of the city. There is even a suspected serial killer near lady bird lake, but no police patrols.
Abbott said the DPS will continue to patrol the City of Austin.
In fact the Governor said he will bring in 30 additional troopers to supplement the 100 already there.

Watson and the city council can‘t do diddly about that.

This year it dropped to 40th...and that's probably still too high ! Amazing what a bunch of democrats can do to a place.

I lived there in the 70,s and it was then the best of the best, now I pay the tollroad fee to avoid driving near the place.
