Babywatch: Rowdy might be a few weeks early

At Baylor Dallas right now, wife having contractions. Due date Nov 9, have appointment to induce on the 3rd…he might be ready sooner.

Last week’s ultrasound showed Rowdy is a big boy, 85th percentile.

Had to cancel my trip to business trip to Mexico City, was supposed to fly out Monday LOL

Went thru the same thing once. Asked doc how long, do I have time for lunch? Yes she said it will be a while probablya few hours. Water burger is in the same spot as the hospital so i walk out and order a number 5 an df go back. About 15 minutes at most and i see everyone running into the room and i get there just in time to see the head crowning. Lol.

2 impressive lessons. First, 2nd babies always come quick, do like I said get ready to catch that pass. 2nd eat and sleep when you can.

I hope you watched the first time around as it may be see one do one then teach one.


New babies of about the best part of life second only to seeing them succeed.

First daughter was the same. Bad pains, then go home and come back at some really inconvenient time. Second boy, he's ready, 3am and no doc so nurse delivered. Doc shows up and says he did great - yea. Shows me the boy who then pees on the doc. Sweet revenge.

One bit I forgot to share:
Everyone was wearing masks, we figured we would have to also.

As we were leaving, the nurse finishing up our paperwork wasn’t wearing one, the first person we saw without, so i asked what the policy was.

She said its 100% optional and not required.
So we tossed those fucking masks in the trash and thanked her for the clarification.
