    Helotes!
The Army Corps of Engineers to the rescue! My father, who was from Baltimore and a Combat Engineer during the Korean and Vietnam wars, would be very proud!!

Army Corps of Engineers to deploy 1,100 personnel to Baltimore

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is deploying more than 1,100 personnel to Baltimore, Md., following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge into the Patapsco River early Tuesday morning, the service said in a statement.

The corps’ Baltimore District has activated its Emergency Operations Center, “clearing the way for more than 1,100 engineering, construction, contracting and operations specialists to provide support to local, state and federal agencies” in clearing the fallen bridge, the Army said in the release.

The Army Corps of Engineers will help remove bridge debris from the river using the removal vessel Reynolds, which patrols the Baltimore Harbor and Patapsco River waters for drift and debris that could be hazardous to navigation.

The corps will also use a 61-foot survey vessel, the Catlett, to review the damage. (full article at title link)

I would not rule out terrorists using this tactic. However, this does not seem to be the case here. If it happens, I would expect the attacks to be at least several in number and coordinated. Plus, the terrorists would be crowing.

Just like the Chinese crowed about making and deploying COVID.

Some terror groups just like to cause mayhem and mess with American trade/finance. Then sit back in the government buildings cackling like a group of hens.

If by “deploy” you mean fumbled and allowed an outbreak amongst their own population which quickly spread outside their borders. And here they fumbled their maintenance leading to a catastrophe…sure.

Reported that the Dali had engine problems in port and was 'inspected' and deemed OK. Problem with 'losing' power (elec.) that should be run from the Aux engine. Still had to stop the main and prop, get the 2 stroke diesel running backwards. Dropping port anchor and backing down automatically forces a starboard turn.

Not saying that is impossible. But the Communist dictatorship is not the same as the fanatical terrorist groups. The latter crave publicity for ego, as well as for recruiting and fund raising.

your right it was a mistake that they "accidentally" infected there population then did not close air travel so it spread all over.

Black Box is missing nearly 2 minutes of data prior to collision.

Nothing to see here folks, just accept the govt version and STFU.

One minute and three seconds (01.24:59 - 01.26:02), and data loss only which is consistent (but does not confirm) with the complete power loss that occurred. Audio continued to record. The ship hit the bridge three-and-a-half minutes later.

+1 I only had it to the minute, did not have the seconds.

That ship weighed over 95000 tons. More than some aircraft carriers weigh. Trying to stop from 9 knots was impossible.

They are already showing videos with little explosions at the points where the bridge came apart.
Because 40 year old bolts and/or welds busting loose couldn't possibly create puffs of rust, dirt and debris. There were no "little explosions", there were "violent failures". These are the same idiots claiming the WTC was a "controlled demolition", as if somehow all the employees wouldn't have noticed all of the exposed supports with explosive charges attached to them that would have required.
