Batten down the hatches East Texas!!! It's comin' up a big blow!!!

The Austin area is just now clearing the tornado watches but anything east of IH35 is in the path of a short-lived but nasty batch of storms!!!

Dallas has been in it and still has a couple more hours of intense storms and as usual, it's moving east.

That was some serious SIDEWAYS rain!!!

Let's be careful out there!!!

Yep! Hard rain for about 30 minutes at my house but no hail, and just a couple of reports of hail to the west of 360.

I was driving up from SA when that mess hit. I pushed over to the 130 trying to get even a little more east of it. My tornado warning seek shelter now alert popped up just as we were merging back into 35. We saw the sideways rain. The wife was a by excited. But stationed at Ft. Sill I've seen more than my share of sideways rain and the ol' Twister. Hope y'all stay safe.

Had some heavy rain, strong winds, and pea size hail.

Going to pull the car and truck out from under the Live Oak and wash the leaves off.

We had an F1 or F0 twister come right over our neighborhood last week. Watching the line approach on radar. The line is just north so we may just catch the tail end of it. Oh, boy!

Only 0.25" of rain here in Pflugerville but alot of thunder. Rained hard for about 15 minutes. Suns out now.

Just had a storm blow through here. I could barely see the office building to my east during the worst of it. Seems like most of its gone now.

lightning hit a few trees here, nothing hardcore though. Just tons of rain and wind aside from the trees issue. Glad I got 4WD, was able to pull that bitch out of the way.

We had wind, thunder and very little rain in east Houston. Only the tail of the front passed us. I took a nap. It was perfect for that!

I got hammered 1st thing this morning with some nasty lighting strikes and later in the day pea-to-dime size hail, 2.5" rain total. I went to town this afternoon and just 5 miles away passed a crap ton of downed/split trees and power crews fixing lines. No idea if it was a tornado or just sheer winds but feeling fortunate.

Currently under clear & starry skies but watching phenomenal lighting more than 100 miles E at the state line.

I had only 3/4" rain in the gauge, but I think that's because most of the rain was going sideways.

nonstop rain here from about midnight or so until late morning.

then again, EF-0 hit my neighborhood last week. Ripped the siding off the house across the street and knocked over the tree next door. We lost (literally) a couple shutters.
