Is this an service issued pattern camo, or some aftermarket design? If it is/was actually issued, does anyone know more about it? Thanks.
It looks similar to a British or Russian pattern I've seen before on clothing in surplus stores ..but I don't think it's US

    Helotes!
That is considered a "pixelated multicam" which I think is called "us4ces" and is not in use by any of the US Armed Forces that I am aware of. Russian SURPAT, Dutch/Netherlands Fractal Pattern (NFP) and Italian vegetato are also very similar.

The closest thing in the US is the USMC MARPAT (stolen from the Canadian Disruptive Pattern, CADPAT) or USN NWU III, both of which are pixelated.

The US Army/Air Force OCPs are not pixelated.

Search "camouflage patterns" in Wikipedia if you want to see more possibilities...
