I have a FB page but never use it. I enjoyed myspace a long time ago before it got... stupid. I can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about facebook, but I think the fact that it has become "realtime" annoys me. I respect it for the communication powerhouse that it has become, tho. Just can't get into it.

The "like" button is meaningless without a "dislike" button.

The way i see it..... If ya aint married or you're 12, it's O.K.!! we dont have it in our house as there's no need. My wife and I have all the friends/family we want in our lives. and dont need/want anyone new added to our short list. besides a regular old email just about does the same thing. and for anyone ranting on there about their employers, My Company FIRED 2 people this yr after randomly checking their FB page. Once ya post something stupid it's out there forever.......

I've meet up with some old friends and had some good times because of FB. I post a pic or 2 there occasionally so I'm not a major user but I'm glad it made it easy to reconnect with my past.
