    Another product that worked that was banned because it wasn't safe.
    My mother and grandmother used Safran Tea. Not Sassafras Tea. It really worked. It was taken off the market because it worked to cure or relieve a lot of conditions. The feds said it contained a red dye that was forbidden. So, my grandmother grew it in her garden.

    Hell! I remember when Grandma used iodine.

    When I was shoeing horses I always kept the biggest bottle of 7% iodine in my truck I could find.

    When accidentally quicking a horse driving a horseshoe nail, both of us generally got cut ... the horse from the nail going in the quick, and me from the horse pulling its foot through my hand in reaction, with said nail sticking out.

    Poured iodine in both the hole in the horses foot, and in my ripped and torn fingers or hand and kept on shoeing.

    Had a nurse tell me recently not to use it on a wound??
    Tell that to bio-density of germs in a barnyard.
