You may be familiar with military low level training routes where fighters and bombers would fly at 500 ft at fast speeds to practice ingress to targets. The AF had routes for the B-52s called "oil burners" and were named OB-1, OB-2, etc. After the 70-80s mideast oil crises, they didn't have to change the route designations because they became "olive branch" routes.
