I'm early-season-hiking and too-high-water fishing near Almont Colorado and fly back tomorrow to AUS out of COS.
Too early to be here in CO. Every road above about 9000-9500 feet is still snowed in so hiking is terribly limited and the Taylor river is way too high for my meager fly fishing abilities.

I've listened to Jerry Jeff since about 1980. Never seen him.

Definitely a "life is good" week.

Seen JJW about a half dozen times and always a great show. Couple of those were small private venues and awesome. Been quite a few years though. If he can still put on a show at crowding 80, that's great.

Wondering where to eat tomorrow in New Braunfels tomorrow before the Jerry Jeff show??
The eateries in Gruene are a bit to touristy for my liking.

Just a word of followup.

Jerry Jeff Walker is recovering from a CVA and throat cancer.

His voice has been profoundly effected.
His wit and stage presence is a sharp, witty and entertaining as ever.

What an honorable and admirable man.

I found it to be an honor to see him perform.
I hope he stays on Texas stages for years to come.
