There is a booth there that sells good turkey jerky, that's about all I get, yes it's all overpriced but I like to look.

Prices inside are usually overpriced, but there's always a few guys outside who are looking to sell a handgun or rifle. Asked one of the state troopers there, and he said he always walks around looking for a good deal. I bought a Glock 26 outside the show a couple years back. Gun was in excellent shape; bought it for $300.00.

What I used to do, I used to stand outside with a home made sign right at opening morning. I would always sell within 30 minutes.

First time going to gun show was this last Saturday. Selection of guns everywhere. About the only thing I saw that was cheap was a guy doing the cerakote in house at their shop. But could’ve spent all day window shopping

I was there as well, I know a few of the vendors.

9/10 of them are just scalpers.
I haven’t bought a gun at a gun show in years.

I've been there a couple times, last time about 5 years ago. Too many people and too many vendors that think they know it all.

When I was much younger, I bought a plastic baggie of 100 9mm rounds from a "commercial reloader". I'll never make that mistake again.

Gun shows are good places to coon-finger guns that haven't made it to your LGD's shelves. At the last Waxahachie show, I got to handle some of the Girsan Hi-Powers...including the LW PI series. Made it easy to decide what my next purchase at the LGD will be.

Also, it's a good place to sell a gun when it doesn't sell here (which is always my first preference). I had a good offer on my AMT Automag II at the first table I passed.
