Anyone going to the Gun Show in pasadena this Saturday??

Sunday for me, and I'll be loading up on coffee at Skillets (near Spencer and Red Bluff) around 8:30. Give me a wave!

I was mildly surprised at the crowd attending the Pasadena Gun Show. It was probably the lightest crowd I've ever seen at any show and the prices were almost pre-dumbama. For instance, there was a S&W MP15X just like I bought a year and a half ago for $1050, priced today at $1095. Ammo was about the same as the last few months but still running higher than I like. Winchester 12 ga. 1oz rifled slugs were $6 for five and I just gave $3.47 at WalMart.

And....... they ran out of Dr Pepper again.

New Guy

New to this thread so was there a shoot and if so when is the next and of course where? Also what are you guys shooting? Pistols? Rifles? Slingshots? (Naw, I can do that in my back yard)

People up for a monthly meeting? Dallas does it on the last Sunday of the month. Shooting starts at 10 am, then lunch. A couple of us made it up north for the last shoot. It was a blast.

Houston Area Shoot

Last Sunday of the month starting at 10 am is fine with me. Now that we have established the time where? I'm out in Katy so something on the west side works best for me but I have gone all the way across town to shoot before.

There are Bar Stool Racers for sale on TGT.Do you think we could get a discount if we made a group purchase? Then we could form a league ,have races and have target practice at the same time?

If someone wants to organize it, go for it. I've tried several times and got nowhere. Maybe it's my breath, or maybe I'm not popular outside my house, LOL. Either way, I'm up for meeting every month.

I'm looking to do the Bulleye Competition on a regular, monthly, basis. Other than that, I'm usually up for shooting or meeting anywhere, any time. Last weekend I was up in the Austin area, Gonzalez the weekend before, Dallas the weekend before before.


Shiloh works for me, but anywhere people want to meet works too.
