They might send him home with the ice water radiator. I had them twice foot surgeries. A great way to be stationary & be waited on.

Just think of the cool scars you get to impress everyone with! And remember when you get released to go park in your chair or bed. On a second foot surgery the anesthesiologist gets to talking to me & I mentioned the earlier foot surgery. She asked how that all went & I told her getting home & 24 ours later I was really hurting bad. She told me she would let that happen again. We went to eat lunch after the surgery & when I got home I was feeling good enough to cot the front yard with a push mower. In doing so I tore the stitches out. My dog started really acting concerned about my foot & that's how I found out about the stitches.

I broke my foot day before yesterday. I fell in the yard and my foot separated from my leg. Damnedist thing I have ever seen. I am having surgery this morning.

I don’t have a picture of it on my phone but my wife has one on her’s. I will try to put the picture up here when I get home in a few days.
