Am I missing something? Maybe I can understand the keymod fore stock, but what's the vertical grip for? How can you use it and operate the lever?

It was a little awkward at first but as long as I’m pulling it into my shoulder the lever cycles just fine. The mlok rail is a little smaller than the wood so my finger tips are prone to slip up touch the barrel.. which would be bad after heating up from a few rounds. I’d like to get some rail covers to beef it up a little but I had the vertical grip collecting dust in my parts box.

Well, you must have really long arms! There's no way I could reach that forward grip and still shoulder the rifle! A sleeve sounds like a good idea...maybe tan Kevlar?
