It started out as a range report on the new SIG P365 but....

.....ended up as another What Gun Did You Buy Today thing.

Took the P365 over to the range to give it a run. Just as I figured it ran perfectly. 100rds with zero problems. Only beef is the sights aren’t adjustable and its off a bit for me.
Maybe I can find a new rear sight?

After shooting I was out in the lobby shooting the breeze with the manager. He showed me a revolver that had come in on a trade.
Hot Dang! That’s a P&R’ed S&W M60!
Let me see that thing. Oh crud. Yes. I’ll take it.
I have a set of J-frane grips at the house that are crying out for that.
So here it is.

Imma call it my mini-me Sledge Hammer gun.

P&R'ed is shorthand for Pinned and Recessed.
Actually only the magnums were recessed.
S&W deleted the pinned barrel about 1982.
The P&R'ed guns are more valued by S&W snobs.
