We had our differences here in print but after meeting him FTF, oddly enough at the 1st Memorial meet up, they disappeared because I better understood him. There is good reason so many often encourage others to attend TGT events of any size.

Since we can't put Chris name on our "LEFT THE RANGE" shirts without making new shirts when our members leave the range, @no2gates is going to design the mugs and tumblers to honor our members who have left the range.

Make a shirt once a year?

Hopefully not needed once a year but the Tee design allows for flexibility of event details and additional names. Pictured is my shirt washed and worn many times, often under a motorcycle jacket - meaning added abrasion, and it's still in pretty good condition.

Since our shirts says....2022 and Chris left the range in 2023, is the date 2023 added before his name? And is the date added for what ever year someone passes?

Personally I would prefer a mug so I could set it with my other TGT mugs.

The Inaugural Memorial Meet was held in 2022 but the specific year / date of any member's passing is not included.

If someone wants one just PM me. My opinion is that we shouldn't clutter up a memorial thread here talking about mugs and shirts. It would be better done elsewhere if at all, and maybe a mod can step in and clean this up this thread to preserve it for the memory of Candcallen.

A fun memory of Chris I have was at EZE’s gathering. We were shooting his very low end Anderson AR15 in 5.56 and were amazed how accurate it was. Neither one of us could miss with the danged thing. He also had a MP5 clone that shot like a dream. Really a class act. Dammit.

I'm in for a memorial shoot. I don't know the local ranges in DFW as I used to though. One way or the other, I'm in. Maybe this Spring?
