License Open Carry with CHL...

Not sure if this is the exact right spot to start this thread, so if not, let me know and I'll gladly transition to the proper spot.

My question is this: given that Open Carry with a CHL has now been passed/signed into law, what are some personal opinions that you fine folk on TGT may have about this matter? Do you plan on openly carrying come January 1, 2016? Or do you prefer to still carry concealed, as has been the law up until this point? Why and/or why not? I'm just curious to hear what people's thoughts may be on this highly covered issue. Any discussion regarding this is welcome!

I'll never open carry for these reasons:

1.). Criminals will be walking around looking for guns to snatch off of open carriers hips so that they can grab them and shoot everyone in the general area.

2.). It makes you a target. When a guy walks in to rob a place, he'll shoot the guy with a visible gun first!

3.). What about the poor children. Seeing a gun on someone's hip will scare them to death! Then the parents will have to try and calm them and explain what it is!

4.). There will be too many gun fights in the streets! People will resort to violence because now they will be able to see the other person is armed and get scared and pull their gun first!

5.). Did I mention the children?









Actually I think I might have to get one of these!!! Better safe than sorry!!!

Do not plan on open carry. No need for any potential lawbreaker to know I am carrying.

I have no problems with those who will OC and support their right to do so.

I won't OC because the criminals would see and shoot me first. And I don't want to be stopped by the cops every 5 minutes. And if I did have to use my weapon they would say I was out looking for trouble and trying to be John Wayne.
