Llano Gun Club Shooting Range Temporarily Closing Jan 15

The Llano Gun Range will be closed beginning January 15, 2024, for completion of the new range. We expect to have the new range open within two to three weeks. The new range will be expanded with a concrete floored bays and covered with a tin roof. The pistol side will be 7 yards, 15 yards, 25 yards & 50 yards if you're good enough. The rifle side will be 25, 50, 100, 125 yards. Shotgun is limited to slug only, either shot into a dedicated berm or a cardboard box you bring for a target. Shotgun will not be shot at our backboards. We do not do the tactical Timmy stuff, we are not set up for it. Dues will be $75.00 a year, or $20.00 @day for non-members. The city of Llano is doing the lion's share of the work. It's taken about 2 years to put it all together. But at least it is being done while it is too damn cold to shoot. Our high Monday will be about 28 degrees.
